HC Deb 27 June 1906 vol 159 cc921-2
MR. GROVE

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether, if it is at present necessary to make a distinction between the pay of the writers in the Government stores at Pimlico and at Weedon, though the work carried out in each locality is practically the same, he can see his way to grant an annual increment in each case, especially in view of the fact that the rents at Weedon, since 1902, have increased more than 20 per cent.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) An application for increase of pay at Weedon has been received and is under consideration.
