HC Deb 27 June 1906 vol 159 c919
MR. RAWLINSON (Cambridge University)

To ask the President of the Board of Education when he will publish his Amendments to Clause 6 of the Education Bill.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) My undertaking was that the Committee should be left perfectly free to decide whether Clause 6 should remain as in the Bill, or should be altered so as to require the attendance at the schoolhouse of every child during the time allotted to religious instruction. This will be done either upon one of the Amendments already on the Paper or upon some other Amendment which will effect the purpose.
