HC Deb 27 June 1906 vol 159 c951
MR. JOHN ROCHE

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether, upon the passing of the Land Bill of 1903, about 200 evicted tenants on the Clanricarde estate applied to the Estates Commissioners for reinstatement; how many have been, and how many have got new holdings.

MR. BRYCE

The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have received applications from 131 persons seeking reinstatement upon the estate referred to. The Commissioners have not reinstated any of these evicted tenants in their former holdings, but they have provided three of them with new holdings on a neighbouring estate.
