HC Deb 26 June 1906 vol 159 c757
MR. WALTER LONG (Dublin, S.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether, prior to March 31st last, there is any official record of a case in which the services of a temporary Assistant Land Commissioner were dispensed with on the expiration of the period for which he had been temporarily employed, except on reduction of staff.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) There are official records of three such cases, two of which occurred in the year 1890, and one in the year 1897.
