HC Deb 26 June 1906 vol 159 c788
MR. LUNDON (Limerick, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that William O'Brien, of Curraghlahan, Cappamore, county Limerick, has been since August, 1899, evicted from his holding; and will he take steps, through the Estates Commissioners, to reinstate O'Brien in his farm or in a farm of equivalent value elsewhere.

MR. BRYCE

The Estates Commissioners have received from William O'Brien an application for reinstatement as an evicted tenant. The Commissioners will have the case enquired into, but until their inspector's report has been received they are unable to state what action they may take in the matter.

MR. O'SHAUGHNESSY (Limerick, W.)

Has the inspector gone down to this place yet?

MR. BRYCE

I am not aware, but I do know the Commission are doing all they can to dispose of these cases.
