SIR THOMAS ESMONDE (Wexford, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if, in view of the spread of consumption in Ire and, the Government will consider whether any steps can be taken for dealing with the disease.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) This matter has been receiving the serious consideration of the Local Government Board, who are issuing to local authorities and medical officers of health circulars containing recommendations and instructions as to measures designed to check the spread of consumption.
