I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland why the promised Crofters' Act Amendment Bill has not yet been introduced, and can he now say when it will be brought in.

The Bill is still under preparation, and I am not yet able to say when it will be introduced.

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the Prime Minister during the general election referred to this question as one of an urgent character?

MR. SINCLAIR

I can assure the hon. Member that no time is being lost.
