HC Deb 20 June 1906 vol 159 c194
MR. FULLERTON

I beg to ask the Prime Minister what day the Report of the Royal Commission appointed to inquire into alleged disorders in the Church of England may be expected.

THE PRIME MINISTER AND FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Sir H. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN,) Stirling Burghs

I have nothing to add to the answer which I gave to my hon. friend the Member for the East Toxteth Division of Liverpool on May 28th. †

MR. FULLERTON

What is the cause of the delay? Cannot the right hon. Gentleman press for the report?

SIR H. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

The Government have no control over the Commission. I can only convey to the House what the expectations of the Commission are.
