Resolutions reported from the Select Committee:—

  1. 1. "That, in the case of the Scottish Union and National Insurance Company Bill [Lords], the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with. That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill."
  2. 2. "That, in the case of the South Wales Electrical Power Distribution Company Bill, Petition for additional Provision, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with. That the parties be permitted to nsert their Additional 17 Provision, provided that the consent in writing of three-fourths of the existing debenture stock holders and the approval of three-fourths of the existing shareholders of the Company, at a meeting specially called for the purpose, is proved before the Committee on the Bill. That the Committee on the Bill do report how far such Order has been complied with."
