§ *MR. GLADSTONEThe cost of the staff of the Factory Statistical Branch in the financial year 1905–6 was £1,460. I should add that a certain amount of clerical work connected with the administration of the Factory Act is done by this branch in addition to the collection and tabulation of statistics.
