MR. MACVEAGH (Down, S.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether Robert Arderley, the auxiliary postman at Moy, county Tyrone, who was prosecuted for waylaying and assault, had any undelivered letters in his possession at the time of his arrest, whether any of them contained valuables, whether they have since been delivered to the addresses, and what action the postal authorities took in the matter.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) I will inquire into the matter and communicate with the hon. Member.
