MR. THOMASSON (Leicester)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will cause Mr. Cecil Bisset to be informed of the grounds on which he was dismissed from Kroonstad, of the reasons for the refusal of his application for compensation; and also, whether Mr. Bisset's affidavits referred to, in the letter addressed to him by Mr. C, Grant, R.M., from the office of the. Resident Magistrate, Kroonstad, O.R.C., on May 19th, 1903, have yet been found.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) With regard to the first part of the Question, I have nothing to add to my Answer of June 28th, † which Mr. Bisset has no doubt seen. With regard to the affidavits, inquiry shall be made.
