DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)I beg to ask the Postmaster-General if he authorised the sending of a. paper to the Postmaster of Limerick which asked if any of the learners at that office would accept a transfer as a paid learner to any English office, with the stipulation that the inquiry did not imply any promise of an appointment, but prospects of obtaining an established appointment would be bettor in England; if so, will he explain how such an offer was commensurate with the position of these learners, some of whom have almost four years service.
