ROWLANDS (Kent, Dartford)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether a member of the Metropolitan constabulary, charged with being under the influence of drink while on duty, has the same privilege as a civilian in respect of claiming the opinion of a medical man as to his state and condition; and, if the privilege does not exist, will he consider the desirability of granting it?
