§ MR. CATHCART WASON (Orkney and Shetland)I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies if he can now state when it is proposed to establish a certain amount of representative or Crown Colony government in our East African Protectorate.
§ MR. CHURCHILLThe Secretary of State proposes at an early date to, advise His Majesty to issue Letters Patent providing for the establishment of a Legislative Council in the East African Protectorate, which will include unofficial members nominated by the Crown.
