§ MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord - Lieutenant of Ireland whether agreements to purchase have been signed by the tenants on the estate of Captain Sandes, Garrymore, Mount-mellick, Queen's County; can he say what provision has been made for the evicted tenants on the property; and will the Estates Commissioners see that the claims of the evicted tenants to purchase their old holdings are satisfactorily settled before sanctioning the sale.
(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Estates Commissioners are unable to trace the lodgment of any purchase agreements in respect of the estate referred to. The claims of all evicted tenants will be duly inquired into and considered in the event of the estate being dealt with by the Commissioners.
