HC Deb 11 July 1906 vol 160 c865
MR. BEAUCHAMP (Suffolk, Lowestoft)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he can state the number of merchant vessels, other than those chartered, which placed themselves at the disposal of the Admiralty during the recent manœuvres; whether all or any of them sailed under convoy; whether any were captured; and, if so, how many.

THE SECRETARY TO THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. EDMUND ROBERTSON,) Dundee

It is not possible to answer this Question at present as all the detailed Reports have not yet reached the Admiralty.
