COLLINS (Lambeth, Kennington)I beg to ask the Secretary 876 of State for the Home Department whether his attention has been called to the sentences passed, at Gloucester last Friday, by Mr. Justice Lawrance on certain persons for alleged rioting, in their defence of the rights of a public footpath at Leckhampton; and whether he will take into his consideration the mitigation of the sentences.
