MR. PARKEROn behalf of the hon. Member for Sunderland I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether the Truck Commission will meet during the autumn session; and 724 when a Report from the Commission may be expected.
§ MR. GLADSTONEThe task imposed on the Committee is a very heavy one, and they will continue their labours during the autumn session. Their work is being pushed on with all expedition, and it is hoped that a Report may be made to me as early as possible next year.
