To ask the President of the Board of Education if the Board will recognise a teacher as part of the staff of a State-aided school if the teacher makes or enters into an agreement with the manager, binding him to give religious instruction, whether of a general or special character.

To ask the President of the Board of Education whether, in the event of the managers of a State-aided school making an agreement with a teacher which contains an undertaking on the part of that teacher to give religious instruction of some special character not permitted under Section 14 of the Act of 1870, this Board would consider themselves bound under Section 7 (2) of the Education Bill to withhold the Parliamentary Grant from the school.
