HC Deb 06 July 1906 vol 160 cc358-9
MR. SLOAN (Belfast, S.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if any, and, if so, what steps have been taken to carry into effect Sir Alexander Binnie's Report in connection wth the Bann drainage.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) This matter is engaging my attention. The views of persons locally interested are being obtained; the Board of Works is considering the Report, find indeed the whole subject; and a valuer has been appointed who is immediately to examine and report upon the lands which would be beneficially affected by a drainage scheme. There are many details which need to be considered before action can be taken.
