HC Deb 02 July 1906 vol 159 c1376
MR. E. H. LAMB (Rochester)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether, after the representations made to the Government, the decision of the Admiralty to remove 200 men from Chatham to other dockyards is still to be adhered to; and, if not, whether he can put an end to the anxiety felt in Rochester and Chatham by announcing the present intentions of the Admiralty in this matter without delay.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) It is not proposed to transfer these men to other yards.
