HC Deb 02 July 1906 vol 159 c1400
MR. BELLAIRS (Lynn Regis)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether the decision to avoid working overtime as much as possible in the Royal dockyards will in any way alter the policy of the Admiralty, as outlined in Lord Cawdor's statement of Admiralty policy, of completing four armoured ships in the year, and more if Foreign Powers increased their programmes.

* THE SECRETARY TO THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. EDMUND ROBERTSON,) Dundee

The question of overtime will not affect the policy adopted as regards new construction.
