MR. T. RICHARDS (Monmouthshire, W.)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board if his attention has been called to an admission by the chairman of the Bedwellty Board of Guardians that he and several other members of the Board regularly sent casks of beer to the Tredegar workhouse for the use of the guardians at their 1723 meetings, and that although he had supplied nine barrels he understood that his turn to send one had again arrived; and if he will at once take steps to prevent a continuance of this practice.
§ MR. JOHN BURNSMy attention has not previously been called to this matter. I will make inquiry with regard to it.
