§ MR. HUDSONI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the long hours being worked by the drivers and firemen at the Midland Railway locomotive depot, Leeds; whether he is aware that these men are frequently working thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen hours per day because of an inadequate relief staff; and whether he will institute an inquiry into the matter with a view to securing a reduction of these long hours.
§ MR. LLOYD-GEORGERepresentations have been received in regard to the hours of work of the men at this depot, and inquiry is being made.
