FLAVINTo ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state in whom are vested stone quarries and gravel pits where a sale takes place directly between the tenant and landlord, under the Act of 1902; and whether the tenant has the power of selling or using a quarry or gravel pit for his own or other use.
§ (Answered by Mr. Bryce.) This Question is one of law which, as I am informed, has not yet been the subject of judicial determination, and I could not not give an opinion upon it without much consideration.
