HERBERT ROBERTS (Denbighshire, W.)I bag to ask the Secretary of State for India whether he has received the views of the Government of India upon the Report of the Committee appointed to inquire into the Excise administration; and whether he is now in a position to make a statement upon this subject.
§ MR. MORLEYIt has been decided to publish the Report in India without waiting until the Government have reviewed it, and I will lay it on the Table of the House as soon as the necessary copies are received from India.
