§ MR. WATTI beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if he will state how long a period has elapsed since applications were invited for the position of assistant medical officer for Duke Street Prison in Glasgow; and what steps, if any, have been taken to fill the vacancy.
§ MR. SINCLAIRSince 30th August; but, so far as I am aware, there has been no call for the services of the assistant 1046 medical officer in the meantime. I understand that an appointment will be made shortly.
