HAROLD COXI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State to the Colonies whether His Majesty's Government have yet arrived at any decision with regard to the Act recently passed by the Natal Legislature, which, if permitted to become law, would take away the municipal franchise from a large number of His Majesty's Indian subjects, many of whom are large ratepayers.
