MR. CATHCART WASONI beg to ask Mr. Attorney-General whether his attention has been directed to the death of a woman at Blackpool caused by the driver of a motor car driving negligently and beyond the statutory limit of twenty miles an hour; and if he will satisfy himself if it is a case in which the Public Prosecutor could be moved with the object of securing some security for life and limb of His Majesty's subjects.
§ THE ATTORNEY-GENERAL (Sir JOHN WALTON, Leeds, S.)I have seen the coroner's summing up, and the report of the chief constable and the Director of Public Prosecutions, and considered the prospect of another jury taking a different view, and I do not think I ought to intervene.
