§ MR. THOS. F. SMYTH (Leitrim, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if the Estates Commissioners would buy the unsold portions of Sir Morgan Crofton's estate surrounding the town of Mohill, together with the town, with a view to reselling the same to the tenants.
MR. BRYCEThe Estates Commissioners inform me that no originating application in respect of the sale of Sir 361 Morgan Crofton's estate has yet boon lodged with them. They will, however, be prepared to consider the question of purchasing the property if the matter should be brought before them.
