FARRELLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland how many cases of eviction under the seventh section of the Act of 1887 were registered in county Longford during the year ending 31st March, 1906; and in how many eases was the decree executed, and total evictions carried out.
MR. BRYCKDuring the year ending 31st March, 1906, fifteen notices of eviction were filed in county Longford under Section 7 of the Land Law (Ireland) Act, 1887. I am informed that in none of these cases was eviction carried out.
