§ *MR. BELLAIRSI beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the date of the next Hague Conference has yet been settled; and whether the Powers have agreed to include the question of disarmament or the arrest of armaments in the discussions of the Conference.
§ SIR EDWARD GREYHis Majesty's Government have not yet learned that any date has been settled for the meeting of this Conference. With regard to the latter part of the Question, I have nothing at present to add to the Answer given by the Prime Minister to the hon. Member for North Salford on 9th April last, † and to my own statement in the House of Commons on the 9th of May, which explain the attitude of His Majesty's Government.
