MR. POWER (Waterford, E.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can state on what grounds MR. Orr, R.M., persistently refuses licences to carry firearms to farmers in the Ballymacarberry petty sessions district of the county Waterford for the protection of their crops, though some parts of the district are infested by rabbits.
§ (Answered by Mr. Bryce.) I understand that Mr. Orr, R.M., is at present absent from the country on leave. I shall not, therefore, be in a position to obtain, his 115 observations on this Question for some little time.
