CHANCE (Carlisle)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been called to the statement of Baron d'Achrental that the improvement of the administration of justice in Macedonia must now be brought nearer realisation; and whether the Government will do all in their power to encourage and promote judicial reforms in that country.
§ MR. RUNCIMANThe Answer to the first part of this Question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, His Majesty's Government have always recognised the great importance of this point, and will certainly do all in their power to encourage judicial reform in Macedonia, and to promote it in concert with all the other Powers concerned.
