HC Deb 10 December 1906 vol 166 cc1535-6
MR. MACVEAGH

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether arrangements can be made to have the embroidery classes in Dromara court house, county Down, held at an earlier hour in the evening, so that girls living at some distance from the village may be enabled to attend them.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The embroidery class at Dromara is held from 6 till 9 p.m. The County Down Committee have informed the Department of Agriculture that no representations have been made to them in favour of a change of hours. The Department have, however, now requested the secretary to the committee to consult with the instructress with the view of arranging, if possible, that the hours may be changed from 5 to 8 p.m.
