PIRIE (Aberdeen, N.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War, with regard to his intention to quarter two cavalry regiments in the Scottish command, will he, in the interests of frugality, give the estimated cost of hutting the 1170 said regiments on a suitable training ground in Scotland pending the erection of more costly quarters.
§ MR. HALDANEThe cost of hutting two cavalry regiments in a substantial manner with all accessories is estimated at £150,000. This does not include anything for the ground.
