MR. HUGH LAW (Donegal, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can state the nature and place of origin of the stone to be used in the erection of the new College of Science, Dublin.

If the hon. Member will refer to the Answer which my hon. friend the Secretary to the Treasury gave to a similar Question by the hon. Member for East Clare on the 7th ultimo, the will find all the information † See (4) Debates, clxiv., 564–5. which at present is available on this subject.

In reply to Mr. WILLIAM REDMOND,

said the Irish stone used in the lower storey had proved very satisfactory.
