HC Deb 04 December 1906 vol 166 cc768-9
MR. GINNELL

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if the Estates Commissioners have asked Mr. Richard Gradwell of Dowth Hall, Drogheda, to sell his untenanted lands in the rural district of Coole, Westmeath; if they have asked him to restore his evicted tenants or to sell the evicted farms for the purposes of restoration; and, if so, what were the dates of their communications with Mr. Gradwell, and the nature of his replies.

MR. BRYCE

The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have not yet approached the owner of the estate in question.
