MCKILLOP (Armagh, S.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether a sworn 1598 inquiry was recently held by an inspector of the Local Government Board in county Armagh with reference to the question of the employment of direct labour or contract labour; and, if so, what decision the Local Government Board have come to on the subject.
(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative. The Local Government Board have not yet received their inspector's report on the matter, and no decision has, therefore, been arrived at.
