§ MR. MORTONI beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether he will consider the necessity of getting a grant of money for the improvement of the piers and harbours in Sutherland, so that the fishermen may be able to carry on their work without undue risk and danger.
§ THE SECRETARY FOR SCOTLAND (Mr. SINCLAIR,) ForfarshireUnder Section 4 of the Congested Districts (Scotland) Act of 1897 money is available for those purposes, and the Board have made grants in any case whore, after inquiry, they were of opinion advantage commensurate with cost would ensue.
