HC Deb 02 August 1906 vol 162 c1337
MR. W. D. WARD (Southampton)

To ask the hon. Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether any other, and, if so, which rivers in Hampshire will be brought under the management of the Avon and Stour Conservancy; and, if no decision has at present been reached, whether there is prospect of a decision being reached at an early date.

(Answered by Sir Edward Strachey.) No decision has yet been come to with regard to the application of the Avon and Stour Board of Conservators for an extension of their district, but we shall endeavour to arrive at a settlement of the matter with as little delay as possible.
