Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries, whether a Report has been received from the Board's inspector, who held an inquiry as to the extension of the Avon and Stour Conservancy to other Hampshire rivers; and whether such Report will be laid upon the Table.
(Answered by Sir Edward Strachey.) The Report to which my hon. friend refers has been received, but it is made solely for the guidance and information of the Board, and it would be contrary to practice for it to be laid on the Table.
