I beg to ask the President of the Board of Education whether he can state the number of children enrolled, at the close of the last completed statistical year, in Council, Church, Roman Catholic, Wesleyan, Jewish, and British, and other undenominational schools, respectively, in Wales and Monmouthshire.

The numbers for the statistical year ending June 31st, 1905, are:—;Council, 307,698; Church, 92,480; Roman Catholic, 14,138; Wesleyan, 704; Jewish, nil; British and other undenominational, 6,227.
