To ask the Secretary of State for War if he will state the number of officers under forty-five years of age who, under voluntary retirement, are receiving pensions, the amount of the respective pensions, and the total sum of all such pensions for the last financial year; and the number of officers under forty-five years of age who, under compulsory retirement, are receiving pensions or half-pay, the amount of the respective pensions or half-pay allowances, and the total sum of all such pensions or half-pay allowances for the last financial year.
