§ MR. BIRRELLThe numbers of separate school departments for the statistical year ending July 31st, 1905, are:—;Council, 12,157; Church of England, 16,320; Roman Catholic, 1,843; 29 Wesleyan, 639; Jew, 24; British and other undenominational, 949.
