§ MR. P. A. MCHUGHI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received a copy of a resolution recently adopted by the Leitrim County Council in regard to a Bill for the better prevention of bee pest; and what action does he propose to take in reference thereto.
§ MR. WALTER LONGYes, Sir. It is considered that the facilities for the eradication of this pest which are afforded by the Department's bee-keeping scheme 240 will, if properly used, render it unnecessary to have recourse to further legislation.
