To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, in view of his proposal to abolish the duty on bonds, whether he can say when the 1d. stamp on delivery orders will be abolished.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) The abolition of the stamp on delivery orders cannot take effect until the date of the passing of the Finance Bill.
