HC Deb 25 May 1905 vol 146 c1389
MR. SLOAN (Belfast, S.)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the funeral of the late Corporal John Henshaw, Crimean veteran, at Weaste, on the 6th instant; and if he will explain what were the exceptional circumstances which permitted military honours to be given in this case while it is forbidden in others.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Arnold-Forster.) I have no information on the case mentioned, but I am making inquiries.
