HERBERT ROBERTS (Denbighshire, W.)To ask the Secretary of State for India whether the Maharaja of Kashmire has made representations to the Government of India with reference to the establishment of a college at Srinagar; whether the British Resident has refused to sanction this proposal; and, if so, whether he will state the grounds upon which the objections of the Resident are based.
